US indices started the year on a good note with S&P rising 2.6% in a week. Dow broke through 25000 on Thursday and continued rising to close at 25295.87 on Friday. This is the workings of the January Effect. What a great way to start the year. The total number of stocks in the uptrend increased from 70% to 74%. The system is now in the offensive mode, having confirmed the uptrend. Expect some more buy next week to fill up the portfolio.
